J by Jessica was created to fill a gap in the headpiece market. I faced numerous challenges during my search for the perfect headpiece for my wedding – I wanted high-quality materials, and I wanted a headpiece that stood out from the crowd, which didn’t seem to exist in the market. With a background in design, I was quite picky so I decided to make my own headpiece, which triggered my passion to launch a brand that would meet the needs of women looking for statement pieces to complete their look.
My inspiration stems from nature, and from moments in time that leave a lasting memory. My curiosity led me to research best practices for designing and creating headpieces from scratch, from sourcing the right materials all the way to procuring the right stones and beads that retain their shine. After numerous trials, J by Jessica was successfully launched in 2016.
All our headpieces are durable and crafted by hand using only high-quality materials and great attention to detail. This allows the headpieces to retain their lustre over a long period of time with minimal care. They are inspired from designs that define the J by Jessica brand. We’ve also recently expanded the collection to include earrings, necklaces, belts and bags, and continue to innovate to create beautiful products that you will love, just as much as we love creating them for you.
ABOUT JESSICA
Jessica is a Lebanese fashion designer based in Dubai.
She has always been passionate about fashion, creating dresses for her dolls when she was a child. While studying fashion design, she discovered her love for accessories and created a brand called Jess for making necklaces, earrings and bracelets. She worked for five years as a designer at a reputable brand for luxurious ready-to-wear clothing in Lebanon.
When she moved to Dubai in 2013, Jessica identified a gap in the market for unique, handmade high-quality headpieces that offer value-for-money, and J by Jessica was born. The venture proved successful, and has since evolved to include neckwear, belts, bags and other accessories.
Jessica graduated from ESMOD Beirut with a three-year degree in Fashion design in 2008.
As a working mom, Jessica started creating her handmade pieces from her home Atelier. Each piece is made with love and care, using high-quality materials and traditional techniques. The handmade collection is designed to be both stylish and versatile, making it the perfect accessory for any occasion. From simple and elegant to bold and statement-making, every piece is tailored to suit a variety of tastes and preferences.
She is highly regarded for her exceptional craftsmanship.
